Deaf or Hard of Hearing
West Central Joint Services provides a full continuum of services for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. Based upon individual needs, students may receive consultative services or resource services in their home school or students may receive part/full time services at a central location in the cooperative. Total communication and oral programs are available. West Central Joint Services also employs interpreters for those students using ASL or ESL. For students needing enhanced auditory input, West Central Joint Services provides sound field systems for classroom and personal auditory trainers.
