Discipline Plan

Our school has divided all disciplinary acts into minor, major, and critical offenses. Depending on the disciplinary act, teachers and administrators have a host of consequences to choose. Consequences can range from warnings to student/teacher conferences for minor offenses, morning detentions and morning Friday schools for some minor and major offenses, and suspensions and expulsions for some major and all critical offenses. Detentions are held on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 7:45 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Friday schools are held every Friday morning, with the exception of holidays from 7:15 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Parents must provide transportation to school and are given advance notice.

Please note, administrators and staff assign consequences based on progressive discipline and an administrator reserves the right to suspend on any violation of the Student Code of Conduct Rules. The Wayne Township “Student Code of Conduct and Annual Notices” will be given to students and/or mailed home during the summer.
