Telephone Usage

1. Students may carry cell phones to school. As soon as students enter the school, phones must be turned off, then placed in lockers. At the end of the day, students may put the cell phone in a bag or purse, but the phone MUST remain off until after dismissal.
2. If a cell phone is confiscated, a parent must pick up the phone from the main office. If a cell phone is confiscated more than once, a parent must pick up the phone and the student will earn a school consequence.
3. Telephones in classrooms cannot be used by students to call a parent. Adults in the guidance office or main office will be glad to help students who have an emergency.
4. CHC Nurse Mrs. Hodson will be the adult who will telephone a parent if a student is ill. A student may not telephone a parent to be picked up, but a student is to seek permission to go to the clinic where Nurse Hodson will help.
