bullet Facility:
Chapelwood Elementary School was originally constructed in 1963, with renovation completed in 1997 and 2007. In August 2007,  a $7 million renovation project added four new classrooms and a new cafeteria, as well as technological improvements throughout the building. Our Media/Research Center features access to the Internet, as well as a scanner and digital cameras. Chapelwood facilities include art and music rooms, a gymnasium, cafeteria and technology lab.

50 teachers and 31 support staff, including media specialist, physical education, art, music, family community liaison, teacher assistants/paraprofessionals, nurse, secretaries, cooks, custodian, and Cummins Counselors.

The grade of I means that specific “intervention” is planned to assist the student in meeting the standards by the end of the grading period. When the grade of I is given, the teacher will list the intervention(s) to be used on the midterm report.
