What's New in Wayne Township
Financial Reductions: After months of gathering input from members of the Wayne community, the MSD of Wayne Township has created a plan to carry out needed financial reductions in the 2013-14 school year. School Calendar Changes for 2013-14: The MSD of Wayne Township Board of Education has approved a change to the school calendar for the 2013-14. The staff development day will be changed from February 5, 2014 to November 5, 2013. This means students will have a day off school November 5 of 2013 and will attend school February 5 of 2014. Although there is no scheduled election in November of 2013 as of yet, the district's calendar committee will recommend the all-day staff development day take place on the first Tuesday in November each year. This will eliminate the congestion trying to accommodate polling sites with a regular student day.
