Sophomores at Ben Davis High School design a device to launch a ping-pong ball at targets as part of their study of kinematics. It's part of their study of kinematics in the Principles of Engineering PTLW course.
McClelland Elementary - Flower Paintings »
Third graders at McClelland Elementary learn about the artist Georgia O'Keefe, best known for her larger-than-life flower paintings. The students read a book about O'Keefe, studied her paintings, and then sketched some flowers by looking at artificial flowers at their tables.
These students represented the Ben Davis High School Business Professionals of America and the state of Indiana at the organization's national competition. They are 2012 national champions. Their advisors are Ben Davis teachers Jen Petersen, Debbie Davidson, Tina Waechter, Barb Lyter, and Debbie Diss.
