When the grade of I is given, the teacher will list the intervention(s) to be used on the midterm report.

History of School: Maplewood Elementary was completed in 1968.   Remodeling and additions to the school started in 1983, and continued in 1986, 1993, and 1996. Additions included:  classrooms, a new gymnasium, lunch rooms, media center, art and music rooms. Maplewood is a lighthouse school for technology.

Mission Statement: The mission of Maplewood, as a community focused on the  needs of children, is to ensure that all of our students  become self-directed learners, to empower them to be productive and successful citizens as they acquire the knowledge, skills and processes necessary to meet the future challenges in our diverse culture by:
