Wayne Township Special Services Alternate Curriculum

NOTE: The MSD of Wayne Township Alternate Curriculum is designed for students with significant disabilities whose needs can best be met by participating in a separate special education classroom.  Students participating in the Alternate Curriculum are those students whose progress is assessed annually using the Indiana Standards Tool for Alternate Reporting (ISTAR).

The Alternate Curriculum has been divided into the following sections:  Preschool, Primary Elementary, Intermediate Elementary, Junior High, High School, and Transition to Adult Life.  Because of the unique needs of the students served through this curriculum, teachers and parents may find they need to utilize many different sections of the curriculum to find relevant activities and strategies to meet the needs of the children with whom they are working.
