Indiana Foundations for Young Children-- This document contains Indiana's foundations to the academic standards which include skills and experiences for childern's development. The foundationsto the standards address skills and competencies that children are to achieve form birth to age five. The foundations are not a comprehensive list of skills that a particular child must exhibit. They are a guide to assist young learners with knowledge and skills in the early years that will prepare them for success in school.
