Theatre Memberships/Sponsorships

Wayne Township Community Theatre is a vital and exciting part of the arts community in Wayne Township. Over the past 7 years we have presented over 15 different productions involving over 10,000 Indianapolis residents as audiences, sponsors, advertisers, in-kind supporters, actors, technicians, and production staff. Additionally, we just finished our first year of Kids Theater Summer Camps and believe they were a huge success. We look forward to continuing this excellence in theater for years to come.

Wayne Township Community Theatre is sponsored by the Wayne Township Education Foundation which raises money to provide funding for teachers and students as they create expanded opportunities in their classrooms. Today, we invite you to take part in our sponsorships program. Your funding will enable us to maintain our mission of promoting the performing arts in the community, through live theatrical and educational experiences, while placing all the proceeds back into Wayne Township's classrooms.

Your sponsorship dollars pay for many things:

Royalties ($1,500 - $3,000 per production)
Costume expenses and rental ($100 - $1,000 per production)
Set lumber and materials ($500 - $1,500 per production)
Lighting ($200 - $1000)
Sound ($200+)
Printing costs ($250+ per production)
Advertising costs ($250+ per production)
Kids Theater Summer Camps ($3,500+ in annual costs)

Conservatively, our average annual costs for Wayne Township Community Theatre are $15,000. Our Kids Theater Summer Camps together have an estimated budget of over $3,500 and include performances and educational opportunities as well as experience in the technical theater aspects.

Your tax deductible contribution* (minus the value of tickets) to Wayne Township Community Theatre will keep live theater affordable and available in Wayne Township.
