Free Summer Meals Program for 2025

M.S.D. of Wayne Township is pleased to announce its 2025 Summer Meals Program, which will provide free nutritious meals to all children ages 18 and under.

"Our summer meals program ensures that children in our community continue to receive nutritious meals when school is not in session," said Child Nutrition Director Brittany Jointer. "We're making these meals accessible by delivering to multiple locations throughout the community."

Program Details:

The Summer Meals Program will operate Monday through Friday from June 9 through July 18 at various locations throughout the township.

• Available to all children ages 18 and under
• Meals must be eaten on site
• Daily service Monday through Friday, June 9-July 18
  • No meals on June 19 and July 4
  • ***Meal service at North Wayne Elementary and Westlake Elementary ends on June 27

Locations:

Meals will be delivered by bus or van Monday-Friday, starting June 9 through July 18, to the following locations:

• 10 West Apartments, 7855 Cimarron Trail: 12:00 p.m.-12:30 p.m.
• Boardwalk at Westlake, 6000 WestLake Dr.: 11:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m.
• Carriage House West, 1301 N. Whitcomb Ave.: 11:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m.
• Chapel Hill Apartments, 7452 Bentley Dr. : 10:45 a.m.-11:15 a.m.
• Cloverleaf Apartments, 835 Cloverleaf Terrace: 1:00 p.m.-1:30 p.m.
• Covington Apartments, 115 S. High School Rd.: 10:45 a.m. -11:15 a.m.
• Heather Ridge, 3245 Heather Ridge Dr.: 11:00 a.m. -11:30 a.m.
• Mariners Village Apartments, 7135 Islander Dr.: 11:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m.
• Mount Olive Church, 1449 S. High School Rd.: 12:15 p.m.-12:45 p.m.
• Pondarosa, 3559 Cossell Rd.: 11:30 a.m-12:00 pm
• Skyway Mobile Homes, 2952 Skyline Dr.: 12:45 p.m.-1:15 p.m.
• Stout Field Park, 3820 Bradbury Ave.: 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
• The Hills Apartments (Pangea), 5515 Pleasant Hill Circle: 12:30 p.m.-1:00 p.m.
• The Park at Greenhill, 59 Port O Call Dr.: 12:30 p.m.-1:00 p.m.
• Wayne Public Library, 198 S. Girls School Rd.: 11:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m.
• West Glen Village, 1207 Rushmore Blvd. East: 12:30 p.m.-1:00 p.m.
• Windsor Park Apartments, 6764 Lambert St.: 11:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

In addition to the mobile delivery sites, meals will be served Monday-Friday, starting June 9 through July 18, at these school locations:

• Ben Davis Ninth Grade Center, 1150 N. Girls School Rd.: 11:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
• Ben Davis University High School, 1155 S. High School Rd.: 12:45 p.m.-1:15 p.m.
• Bridgeport Elementary, 9035 W. Morris St.: 11:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m.
• Maplewood Elementary, 1643 S. Dunlap Ave.: 11:15 a.m.-11:45 a.m.
• ***North Wayne Elementary, 6950 W. 34th St.:   11:15 a.m.-11:45 a.m. (June 9-27)
• Rhoades Elementary, - 502. S. Auburn: 11:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m.
• ***Westlake Elementary, 271 N. Sigsbee St.: 11:15 a.m.-11:45 a.m. (June 9-27)
