Wayne Township Schools Opens Ben Davis Fitness Facilities to the Community

The Metropolitan School District (MSD) of Wayne Township is inviting community members to exercise in its facilities this fall. Residents can use the indoor walking track, cardio room, and swimming pool at Ben Davis at no cost during designated community hours. The facilities opened to the public after Labor Day, on Tuesday, September 8.

The district invites community members to use our fitness facilities, with early-morning hours for people who like to work out before the school day begins and a weekly evening swim.

Ben Davis Aquatic Center

Open swim is available on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday mornings from 6:15 to 7:15 a.m., and on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Community locker rooms are available before and after each swim session.

Ben Davis Cardio Center

The cardio room is open to community members Monday through Friday from 6:15 to 7:15 a.m. The indoor walking track is also available during these morning hours.

For both facilities, community members should enter through Door 5.

Upcoming Closures

Please check the September/October calendar before visiting. All community fitness facilities will be closed on Wednesday, September 23, for a Staff Development Day. They will also be closed for Fall Break from Monday, October 12, through Friday, October 23. Regular hours resume after Fall Break.
